Twelve youth organizations in Mombasa plugged into county planning, with civic education reaching Hatcliffe, Zimbabwe.
I-VIP empowered 12 youth organizations to participate in Mombasa County development planning, and reached 2 percent of the Hatcliffe Extension population in Zimbabwe with civic education ahead of elections, by the end of November 2018.
The project established a network of those 12 organizations, deepened their knowledge of county planning and of advocacy with policymakers, and strengthened their ability to develop advocacy messages and action points. The audience was young people aged 18 to 35.
