Democracy and good governance
MEAT
Mobilize, Empower, Actualize, Transform — peaceful youth inclusion in political processes on the Coast.
MEAT was a 24-month project supported by Voice under the Influence grant. Its goal was greater peaceful inclusion of youth in political processes so they could take part in decisions that shape their lives.
Objectives covered meaningful youth engagement in democratic and electoral processes on the Coast, more knowledge of those processes among youth and women, and civic education across three coastal counties.
