Mentoring Youths for Positive Opportunities and Advancements (MYPOA) builds a stronger network for sexual and reproductive health and rights advocacy in Mombasa County, equips young people with life skills, and brings stakeholders into action on SRHR outcomes.
By mobilizing grassroots organizations, providing training and support, running mentorship, and convening stakeholder meetings, the project promotes and protects sexual and reproductive health rights.
Its longer aim in schools is a sense of belonging, inclusivity, and positive mental health for every student — a supportive school community where young people have the knowledge and tools to look after their wellbeing.
